"Metalcore plus Deathmetal, also ist es eine moderne Band hier für mich zum Review. Normalerweise ist das nichts für meine Ohren. Aber Lamera machen es nicht auf die Art von Kindergartenmetal. Durch abwechslungsreiches Songwriting und auch Anteilen von cleanen Gesang wird die Scheibe nicht langweilig..."

Fazit: „Mechanically Separated“ erfüllt in jedem Fall die Erwartungen, die man gemeinhin an Lamera hat. Schön, dass die Jungs ihren hohen Standard halten können und auf der Scheibe ein paar richtig geile Abrissbirnen versammelt haben, die nicht nur stumpf daherbollern, sondern intelligent aus den Boxen flirren. Die Jungs schaffen außerdem den Spagat, durchdacht und strukturiert zu klingen, ohne an Leidenschaft einzubüßen – da darf man sich schon auf das Phoenix Festival 2012 freuen, wenn die Herren die neuen Stücke hoffentlich in ihrer ganzen Pracht live spielen.
